The Challenge
The homeowners at Elizabeth Mews had secured planning consent for an additional storey to their family home but were unsure how to progress the design or understand the likely build costs. They needed experienced support to manage the next stages and ensure the project was viable, well-coordinated and ready for construction.
Our Approach
Appointed as Project Manager, we’re helping to assemble and appoint the full professional team, tendering for an architect, structural engineer and supporting consultants. Working closely with the homeowners, we’re guiding the detailed design process and exploring options to improve the scheme. This includes developing a revised planning strategy to extend the home more holistically, rather than simply building upwards.
Progress So Far
We are currently preparing a new planning submission and developing a comprehensive tender pack to issue to contractors. This will allow the project to move forward with clarity on cost, scope and programme ahead of construction.
